This painting was inspired by a five-week trip to India in January 2005, during which the I had the opportunity to see ancient Buddhist, Muslim and Hindu masterpieces, including the exquisite sculptures of the temples of Khajuraho. (Please note that this artwork is on a wood panel and it is heavy. If you are interested in adopting it you will need be able to pick it up from me in Brooklyn, NY and have an appropriate means of transporting it.)
