Drawings are oracular exercises. They are the lined trailings of our most intimate neural formations. And they are also the most capricious fictions. Superficial and supernatural. Fictions are revelatory and revelations are spoken in the language of the dust and the divine.
I draw people from my imagination, fiction, newspapers and see who they are as I go. My lines are drawn in pen and ink, indelible marks carve out the surface of something that exists only as a figment and yet traces the sweetest reality.
