It is the random tie between our senses and the politics of identity that interest me--the accidental way our sense of self is continuously being shaped by the conditions in which we find our self, at a certain point it belongs only by chance to place from which it sets out. Using both photography and video I use minimalist visual gestures to create poetic spaces that absorb contemporary conflicts. Each project is a conceptual, emotional and spiritual experience to dig, pull, reflect and revolt. The works are situated between tradition and modernity and open multiple interpretations associated with displacement, otherness, learned and inherited ideas.
