Alvar's wonderful painting now hangs in my living room in prospect heights. when i bought the place last year, it was the first time i was plunking down roots somewhere with no plans to move for a while and found myself confronted with the need to find some way to bring some color and personality to the space. the fact that alvar lives basically down the street was a great bonus and i'm happy to provide a new home for my neighbor's work.
