Having no horticultural ability at all, I tried to grow wheat grass, later basil, but could only document my failures. My seeds did germinate. They did grow, and the plants were beautiful; but ultimately I was unable to sustain it. With basil, I finally went to the store and bought plants. They eventually died too. However, I view this project as not just a failure, but also an act of perseverance.
